MSU to Host Reusables Conference

Sustainability is the hot new topic in packaging and supply chain management. Michigan State's renowed School of Packaging wants to go further than just the buzz words in a conference with industry leaders and experts. On September 4-5, Michigan State University will host a conference detailing the lastest issues in reusable packaging systems.

The seminar will end with a field trip to observe GM’s Grand River Assembly factory and Ryder
Logistics’ local consolidation terminal for GM’s just-in-time production and packaging reverse
logistics.
Under the direction of Dr. Diana Twede, Professor School of Packaging , this conference will explore the costs, benefits and relationships involved in a successful reusable container system. The meeting will include an exhibit showcase that will feature new and proven packaging systems, third party services, and technologies.
