Bett-A-Way Customer Profile
Arizona Tea has grown to become the #1 selling ice tea brand in the country. Arizona’s customers range from large national retailers to local independent distributors to its own distribution network in New York and Florida. Arizona’s pallet requirements differ for each relationship. Arizona has been using Bett-A-Ways services since 1995.
Jay Petragnani, director of operations for Arizona Iced Tea, said, “Bett-A-Way’s pallet management system has enabled us to accommodate variations in customer requirements and allowed Arizona to avoid traditional rental programs.”
Petragnani also said, “Bett-A-Way has enabled us to supply and retrieve pallets anywhere in the USA and Canada. In addition, they manage all of our pallet logistics scheduling and co-coordinating coupled with the day to day back office tasks of tracking reporting. Bett-A-Way monitors our plant production vs. pallet usage and our sales to a customer vs. their pallet returns. We have in essence outsourced our entire responsibility of pallets.”
